Special Education Manual
It is the intention of the Bethel School District to provide appropriate services for all eligible children with disabilities residing within the district.
Eligibility will be determined by qualified educational and/or medical personnel. A comprehensive, ongoing Child Find program locates, identifies, and evaluates resident children with disabilities. Each child with disabilities residing within the district will be provided a free appropriate public education in accordance with federal and state requirements.
This manual has been developed to provide a guide for delivering educational services to students with disabilities. It has been developed using current state and federal law, and is intended to be used by all school personnel serving the needs of children with disabilities.
This manual is dedicated to our Special Education Teachers who work diligently to provide the very best instruction and services to our students in the Bethel School District.
